The Thai army adopted the last six Ukrainian tanks. Yesterday, October 2, the portal ukrmilitary.com reported that the 2nd Cavalry Brigade of the 2nd Infantry Division of the Thai Army had completed acceptance tests of Oplot tanks.

The video, published by the Battlefield Defense YouTube channel, shows tests of Oplot-T tanks (in Thailand they are called Oplot-M), which took place in mid-September. The military conducted running and fire tests, which resulted in the adoption of combat vehicles into service.

The tank "Oplot" was developed by the Kharkov engineering design bureau and has been manufactured since 2009. "Oplot" is a deeply modernized version of the tank T-84U "Oplot".

The total weight of the vehicle is 51 tons, the crew is 3 people, the gun is 125 mm smooth-bore gun KBA-Z with the ability to launch guided missiles.

Oplot-T is a modification of the tank to the requirements of Thailand, to which Ukraine supplied 49 of these vehicles as part of the contract.
