On May, 12 2019 the Office of the Navy Secretary led by Colonel Phukri Wilairak, Deputy Secretary of the Navy take the media from the center to visit the progress to build a 2nd Offshore Patrol Vessel OPV-552 HTMS Prachuap Khiri KhanIn at the Mahidol Adulyadej Naval Dockyard, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province.
During building project of HTMS Prachuap Khiri KhanIn, the Navy has used the potential and knowledge of the Navy personnel to conduct the test installation. Both the ship by the Navy Department, the weapon system by the Naval Ordnance Department and the Navy Electronic Department. Although using a foreign ship model, it can be said that it is a large boat building with self-reliance.
