TNI-AU's Pilot being Trained on TA-50 Simulator at the 16th Fighter Wing

The 16th Air Force Fighter Wing is disseminating the excellent flight know-how of the Korean Air Force through training programs for foreign pilots. The 16th Korean Fighter Wing is conducting TA-50 entrusted training for Indonesian pilots from the 22nd of last month to the 30th of this month.
Twelve Indonesian pilots, including Major Ruruk Tegu Prabo Air Force, participated in this three-year training session.
Prior to the training, they received security and safety education and academic education for flight at the ground education training camp. Later, according to the training of a dedicated instructor, he received simulation training assuming various situations through the TA-50 simulator, and he was trained in flying know-how such as knowledge and tactics necessary for steering.
Major Ruruk, who participated in the training, said, “The systematic academic education and flight training conducted by excellent professional instructors, and the simulator boarding training that realizes a realistic flight environment are impressive” he said.
The 16th Air Force Fighter Wing has been conducting foreign pilot training programs since 2013. In addition, the government is making efforts to reinforce military diplomacy by continuously visiting foreign troops and providing human exchanges, such as training on the maintenance of foreign military technicians and field trips to maintenance sites of the Philippine and Thai Air Force.
