Thailand's Defense Technology Institute was successful conducts dynamic test firing domestic prototype of D11A 114mm guided rocket at Artillery Firing Range, Artillery Center, Fort Phaholyothin (Phahonyothin), Lopburi Province in September 2019 (all photos : DTI)
Defense Technology Institute of Thailand conducts dynamic guided rocket size 114 mm, with the Executive Director of the test collaborate with researchers and the research team for the multi-barrel missile research and development project D11A at Khao Pulon Field Shooting Center, Lop Buri Province.
The fire test of this 114 mm guided rocket dynamics section, in order to take the firing results report for the accuracy calibration of the prototype rocket's Inertial Measurement equipment by performing the test as follows :
1. Test the launch of the navigation system to test the mechanism of the system recovery and launcher
2. Test the operation of the sensor, the navigation system
3. Test the automatic rocket gesture control system and report the accuracy of the rocket
4. Launched a test of 114 mm guided rockets with 2 aluminum rockets to test the launcher and recovery mechanism
This test was successful, with satisfactory control of the rocket's flight posture. It is considered another milestone in research and development of the guided rocket.
