The Thai Air Force's Public Relations Video, SMART AIR FORCE 2020 series, has shown progressive vision in many areas regarding the development of interesting air force such as Guidelines for procuring self-developed UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) in Thailand such as the U1.

Including the progress in the modern fighter aircraft modifier scheme, is Northrop F-5E/F Tiger II as the F-5ST Super Tigris by Elbit System Israel and Thai Aviation Industries (TAI), which is in huge progress.

Such as the installation of LIZARD laser guided bombs, flare launches and the newly renovated cockpit.

Aside the fighter program, trainer aircraft T-50TH Golden Eagle Squadron 401, all 4 aircraft are expected to be delivered with another 8 sets.
